2020 Get Out The Vote

The 2020 presidential election proved to be the chaotic end of a controversial year to say the least. Democracy is the backbone of America, and it must be kept free and equal to ensure the US maintains the opportunity of propserity. This means ensuring all US. citizens can make their voices heard and cast their vote. Voter suppression in the US looks like over 1,500 polling places closing in minority communities between 2012 and 2018. This suppression results in extremely long polling lines that deter individuals from casting their vote and using their voice.

We made it our mission to ensure that voters in suppressed communities received all the support neccessary to endure the long lines. Providing hot beverages, water, and snacks, we intended to fight back with our communities against the enduring oppression of voter suppression.
